We are pleased to announce that the Museum of Military Medicine has launched a new podcast series exploring the past, present, and future of the field hospital.

This series takes as its theme the role of the Field Hospital, as a staple of the medical organisation of the British army over the past one hundred and fifty years. Over five episodes we hear from regular and reserve medical personnel and healthcare professionals about their roles and experiences working in the field hospital, and in the case of the reservists, how their Army roles influence their day-to-day jobs within the National Health Service. We hear especially from serving personnel in 22 Field Hospital, based at Keogh Barracks, in Surrey, and from 203 (Welsh) Field Hospital, based in Cardiff but with detachments across Wales.

Episodes 1 and 2 can be downloaded now from your favourite podcast platform with a new episode releasing every week.
