Directions
The Museum is located in Keogh Barracks, Mytchett Place Road, Mytchett, Surrey, GU12 5RQ, and is easily accessible by car from the M3. Please bring some photographic identification with you to obtain a pass at the main gate of the barracks.
The barracks are at the lower end of Mytchett Place Road, to the south of Potter’s Restaurant and the Basingstoke Canal Centre.

The Museum is fully accessible for those with mobility issues and disabled parking is available within the barracks. Please contact the Museum if you require further assistance.
Child friendly
The museum is child friendly and we have a range of activities to make their expeirnece fun and engaging. School visits are welcome and teachers’ packs for Florence Nightingale and Animals and Us are available. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission is free to the museum but all donations are greatly received.

The nearest railway station for mainline trains from London is Farnborough (Main) or Ash Vale. A taxi from the train stations will cost around £8-£12. Trains from Reading or Guildford stop at North Camp station which is also close to the Museum.
